The Tradesmen at Trademark XXVI (Parliament Resort)
Tradesmark XXVI was a real blast!
were the dates of the fabulous Trademark XXVI, and this year we celebrated our 26th Anniversary down at the Parliament Resort in Augusta, GA. This was the first year that we have not held our run in Charlotte and had very mixed feelings about it, but it turned out to be a really great time for everyone that attended, and the Parliament Resort was very accommodating. Everyone had a blast, whether it was the hilarious performances during the drag show, the potent drinks at the cocktail parties, the fun games down by the pool or just enjoying the facilities. If you ask around, you are sure to hear many wild stories of what happened.
was a really great time, not only celebrating our bar night, but also the anniversary of our home bar, the Woodshed. We had our famous jello shooters in lots of different Easter colors, as well as our newest item the Vodka Bears! These are simply amazing and have to be experienced to be believed. The Vodka Bears were a HUGE success and sold out before the first few hours. We will be sure to have more next time! We would like to thank all of you that came out to support us and the Woodshed. Thank you!
was the North Carolina Leather Contest (NCLC) at Volume 11 Tavern in Raleigh, NC.The Tradesmen were very honored to receive the North Carolina Leather Pride Award for 2012. The Tradesmen are very proud to be a Gold Sponsor of NCLC and would like to recommend everyone coming out to support your Leather scene and share in the fun. was a good time shared at the Woodshed as we sold festive St. Patrick's Day colored jello shots. We also did our special “Boots to Balls” raffle for a free run package in May, and our winner was very excited. This is just one of the two run packages that we will be doing a raffle for, so be sure to join us next month for another chance to win. We were also very happy to see our friends from the Tri River Guardians come up to join us for bar night and said farewell to a friend in the Tri River Guardians that was moving away - The Tradesmen wish him all the best! Thank you guys so much for coming up.
SIR Ben Carter & joe boy, 2012 Southeast LeatherSIR/Leatherboy

was our latest monthly bar night at the Woodshed. We had a good turn out of people to come party with us to celebrate Valentine's Day and enjoy some pink, purple and red jello shooters for only $1 each. We had some of our pledges there for a little while. We hope you got a chance to meet them. Also a big thank you goes out the the wonderful Tri River Guardians for showing support at our local club and bringing us some delicious Chocolate Pudding shots with Kahlua and other savory goodness. Thank you so much!
was a night to remember. The Tradesmen were lucky enough to have members of our fellow SECC clubs come to help us ring in the New Year with a blast. A big thank you to the Tri River Guardians and to The Panthers for coming all the way to Charlotte! We also had the distinct pleasure to host the International LeatherSIR and Leatherboy (Sir Alan & pup Nitro) at our home bar for our club night. We also welcomed a new associate member into the Tradesmen and know that they will be very happy here.
was our annual Holiday Dinner for the House of Mercy during the day to share wonderful food and great memories with the local residents there. We had a great turn out with many friends showing up to give their support as well. We always have a good time there and try to do all we can to help them out. That night we held our monthly bar night selling Christmas colored Jello shooters, and hosted our 2nd annual Toy Drive (with Mr. & Ms. Woodshed) at our favorite bar, the Woodshed. Anyone who brought presents to donate was able to receive 2 free jello shooters. (click here to see the flyer)
was full of wonderful friends waiting to get their hands on the famous Tradesmen Jello Shooters. We held a special service to present Jay's vest to the Woodshed and we will be adding his pin to the In Memoriam display case for our past brothers. There was even someone who is interested in possibly becoming a full time member and applied to be one of our newest pledges - and that's ALWAYS a fun time for everyone. ;)
was Black & Blue Weekend in Atlanta in Atlanta (a weekend full of Leather, Kink, Fetish, and fun), and the Tradesmen were down there to help support the community and the contestants of the Southeast Leather Sir/boy, Southeast Community Bootblack and Mr. Southeast Rubber contests. We did not hold our monthly bar night at the Woodshed, but do not fear, we will be returning on with our fabulous jello shooters. See you there.
was the Celebration of Life for one of our brothers Jay (Precious) at the Woodshed, where trees were planted in front of the Woodshed in honor of both Jay and Danny (local at the Woodshed). It was a warm and heartfelt experience that was as therapeutic as it was tastefully done. Greg Bradford (owner of the Woodshed) did the absolutely wonderful job that he always does - no surprises there. He truly is a kind soul. Jays colors have been encased in a shadow box that will be presented to the Woodshed at our regularly scheduled November bar night (Nov. 5). We will also be adding Jay's name badge to the Memoriam case hung on the wall there currently.
history was made at the annual Ms. Woodshed Contest, where one of our very own (Tim S) earned the title as Ms. Woodshed after holding the title of Mr. Woodshed last year. There were many contestants and the competition was fierce, but at the end of the night, the one who had tallied up the most points was "Nadia Cum-n-eatcha". If you weren't there to enjoy the show then you really missed something. Congrats Tim!
Summer Cookout at the House of Mercy:
We had a really great time at our annual Summer Cookout for the House of Mercy, and presented them with another donation to help all the wonderful residents and staff. It's really a special time when we get together to cook and show them how much they are loved and how special they are to us.
